The objective of this project was to make more use-able space in a sloped backyard, create an entertaining space and connect the front and back yards with walking paths. A two tiered wall was built into the hillside with a planting bed in the middle to break up the wall and house low voltage lighting. Having the fire pit built into the retaining wall creates more flexible space on the patio.
