Before:
The client came to us wanting to create a shade garden in this long narrow space. As we discussed the project we determined that if we were going to create a beautiful shade garden we also needed to create motivation to see it, as it was not along the sidewalk of this business so we created outdoor seating in the garden. |

After:
We created paver pads to accommodate the furniture the client had. We also had trellises installed to create privacy in this area, and clematis are beginning to find their way up them. |

After:
We used shade plants with a lot of color like heucheras and bright yellow hostas as well as interesting textures to make this garden as interesting as possible in all seasons without relying on blooms. We even tucked moss next to the flagstone steppers. |

After:
Although this is a long skinny space we managed to make it very useable and fulfilled the clients goals. It is a very enjoyable space to have lunch on a nice summer afternoon. |
