We just arrived at the Chicago Botanic Garden and ready to go on the first tour.
We are so excited to get going!
Lunch was wonderful right there at the gardens.
We all met new friends and caught up with old friends.
It was such a perfect day that some decided to eat lunch outside.

Beautiful annual plantings where we all thought that purple seemed to be the
theme color for the year. We think it’s a perfect color since it matches our work clothes.

Part of the miniature Railroad garden. This is the Space Needle in Seattle Washington created out of all natural materials. They are doing a “Landmarks of the United States” Theme this year. They change themes for the garden annually. What an incredible undertaking!
This is Monticello, the scale and detail throughout this garden was incredible, but I think that the most memorable aspect of it was seeing the children’s reactions to the trains, small cars, and small people. I wonder if they finally feel big??
Minature Dwarf Alberta Spruce and have been prune to look like huge Spruce trees.
